My journey has taken me from being a washed-up art director from Hollywood and a Pixar reject, to the forefront of AI innovation in NYC. With a master's from Parsons Design and Technology, I continuously learn and evolve, drawing inspiration from diverse influences.
In some circles, I'm also known as Maria, but I respond to both names.
I offer expertise in many areas, including product design, branding, creative direction, and strategy.
I'm a Product Strategist and Principal Designer who helps businesses make smarter decisions through AI-driven tools and scalable systems. I specialize in service design, 0→1 product strategy, and predictive analytics—translating complexity into clarity where it matters: go-to-market, operational efficiency, and user adoption.
I focus on whether something is worth building: Is the problem real? Why is it worth solving? How will it drive business ROI, improve the client experience, or enhance brand equity in a way that moves markets? How do we measure success?
While my background is in design, I operate at the intersection of product and business, partnering with executives, engineers, and sales to align on what matters. Increasingly, my focus is on product leadership and operational strategy, helping companies define what to build, why it matters, and how to deliver measurable value.
Design Principle
Functionality alone doesn’t drive adoption or loyalty; emotion, clarity, and trust do. I design with intent, not decoration, combining usability, visual hierarchy, and storytelling to create experiences that resonate, inspire action, and reinforce brand value.
Good design doesn’t just work. It moves people and markets.
Who I am outside design
Parkour is Life
I’m an athlete, my focus currently is training for the American Ninja Warrior (or just like going through the circuit).
Freelance Photographer
Whenever possible I take on clients on the side. I shoot lifestyle, fashion, and products.
Fashion Enthusiast
To me, fashion goes beyond mere aesthetics to solve complex problems related to functionality, sustainability, and cultural expression.
Baking Pastries
This became a hobby during Covid. I bought a KitchenAid, an army of baking tools and started baking pastries.
